Morning Light (10) 49.75" x 49.75" (126 cm x 126 cm) Acrylic, Gesso, Marble Dust on Canvas
"Morning Light (10)" captures the serene transformation of urban dawn through bold geometric forms and a vibrant palette of yellows, blues, pinks, and earth tones. The rich textural surface incorporating marble dust evokes the materiality of urban landscapes; earth, stone, and pavement upon which cities are built This large-scale contemporary abstract painting recreates the sublime moment when darkness yields to daylight in the city as viewed through the contemplative frame of a window. Created as part of the "Quiet Mornings" series, this work explores the gentle pause before urban life awakens. Where cities are typically defined by ambition, movement, and noise, the early morning offers something precious: a moment of collective breath, stillness, and renewed hope.
Shipping Information: Due to the oversized nature of this work, the painting will be shipped rolled without stretcher bars. It can be professionally stretched or framed by the buyer upon arrival.
